Found my old gps unit I used to use hunting about a lifetime ago. Works, but won't communicate and pick up any satellites. Just keeps searching. Did they change something over the years?

It's also possible it's out of synch with the current GPS week number (which rolls over every 19.6 years). We just went through that not too long ago. If it wasn't programmed for it, it will fail.

When I replaced the Halogen work lights in my shop area with LED shop lights I went with double what I thought I needed. They were cheap enough, and plug into each other. Most of the time I have 3 of the 8 turned off, but its nice to be able to individually adjust the light by turning some on or off depending on where I'm working. Mine aren't hardwired though. I used a ceiling three prong plug outlet in one of the spots the previous Halogen ones were, then daisy chained all of them from there.

We have a bunch of these. Bright with a good color temp. Not fancy. Perfect garage fixtures, IMO

Need to take a different treatment approach, but my doctor is a month out. Not being able to eat anything like a normal person without extreme pain and loss of mobility is really getting old. Nothing but rice, water, and medication all week. Sucks.

I checked with my witch doctor, down on the reservation and he recommended .......

Yep. I turned it on this morning and let it run. It got 3 satellites at about 2 this afternoon. Now I have to crack the manual to change the year from 2002.
