Was up north to feed the black flies on Sunday and had a very good day watching the spring classic at Tremblant after 2 years of no spectators at that track.

I have been quite immobile in the last few months due to recurring bad knees and the little walkabout at the track & pits was actually a good challenge for my recovery and also had to modify my panning style not to inflict more pain.

All pictures are strait from JPEg no retouching.

The Olympus M1 ii does in camera focus bracketing (and 15 frame in camera stacking) and I used Picolay to stack. What once upon a time been beyond most amateurs was easily available to a noob like me.

50 frame stack with mid frame for comparison.

I think I tried it once a long time ago for a macro shot. Actually thought macros were the only thing people stacked.

You'd get better photos if you went metric.. greater incremental options when doing stuff..

I know a number of folks doing night sky/astro work that use that as well.

That is so old school. I liked the photo but I liked what this pic represented even more. I'm thinking it was so functional in its day.
