Love Death Robots (Netflix) is back with volume 3. It's overall better than volume 2, but still not quite as good as volume 1 IMO.

Completed Halo on Paramount+. I thought it was true to the game as a prequel, but still needs time to settle into itself, as it was bit inconsistent, and some of the special effects were wonky.

About half-way through watching Moon Knight on Disney+. Personally I feel like it's the better of the Marvel/Disney+ series.

We tried to watch the new Mike Myers show on Netfix. Only got about 20 minutes into it. Not good.

It's been a long time since Mike Myers did anything I could get even 20 minutes into before turning it off.

I felt the Austin Powers bit could have went many more films if someone had told Mike he needed big time help in the writing department. This new thing is all him, and sad.

I enjoyed The Gong Show reboot with Will Arnett a few years ago.

I watched a couple of episodes, it would have been better without Myer's character. Just my opinion of course.

I don’t know that I’m expecting much from the Obi Wan series. I’m hoping to be surprised with story arcs that play into a larger bit of cannon. I like Haden Christiansen and sith mythos so they don’t have to do much for me to be at least satisfied.

Stranger Things drops today too.

This movie kicked ass. It is truly a love letter to the original and better in almost every way. As such there are a few cliche bits but, even with them it wasn't enough to wipe the smile off my face after the quick eye roll.

I've read a few Jack Reacher novels although my favourite was Killing Floor. I thought the writing style changed a little in subsequent novels.
From what I read one of the loudest criticisms of the Cruise movies was the physical build of Cruise. Jack Reacher was something like 6foot4, 120 kgs (forgive my mixed units) all muscle. Tom Cruise was none of these.

I thoroughly enjoyed Pig. It was a little slow, atmospheric. I don't think anyone else could have played the part as well as Nicolas Cage. It really suited him.
