My wife started watching A Discovery of Witches not long ago. I didn’t pay too close attention at first, but once I realized how fun it was, I made her start it over for me. It’s like if Twilight had been written by a historian, then filmed in England, France, and Italy on a big budget with a talented cast of older foreign actors. That’s a bad comparison but it’s close enough.
I also re-watched this little gem recently. One of my favorites. Tyrone Power, Orson Welles, and Wanda Hendrix star.

Black Lady Sketch Show is funny, clever and the four women look great. Wish there were more episodes.
Hacks is a pretty good show. Great jokes, insults I wish I could think of, and good acting from Jean Smart and her costar. Apple just put out a trailer for a Dinosaur show. I feel like I’ve seen enough fucking dinosaur simulations but this has David Attenborough and the renderings are really good. So I’m a little excited. |

Ozark was... fine? I mean, it still gave me Breaking Bad vibes, and what saved this show was Ruth Langmore (Julia Garner), very talented actress. Other than that, the ending was a bit anti-climatic.
