It looks great from every direction but the front to me. I would still drive it though except it is a modern Nissan.

That escalated quickly... I can see dealerships jacking up the prices. Wonder how much cost the manual Zupra

^If it doesn't have the LSD and upgraded brakes I'd disagree. HOWEVER, for $10k you can get a pretty nice aftermarket LSD and BBK

What escalated quickly? These prices are dead on what we expected. Manual Supra is probably going to be $60k.

I've said it elsewhere, but the more I look at these, the more I realize there's not enough "more" for me personally to choose the Z (or the Supra) over the GR86. Sure, I'll be slower off the stoplight. Who cares? There's always someone faster. In the meantime, the $10k-$20k I've saved buys a lot of gas, tires, and track days.

Gosh. It'll be losing stoplight races to moms' mini-van.
Where have I heard that before?

Lightest trim according the Savagegeese is 3486 lbs (for base manual). According to their dash shots it looks like the gearing/final drive of the manual are the same as the 370z (which one Nissan rep said they share the same gearbox with some minor updates in synchros for 1st and 2nd).

Hagerty with Cammisa drag raced an automatic Z with a Supra (presumably the 3 liter version) and a Mustang Mach 1, and the Z lost by quite a margin. Then they drag raced the manual Z with the automatic Z and the manual was slower still (which is to be expected with modern automatics).

I haven't read/watched too many reviews, but Savagegeese have praised the updates on the new Z vs. the 370z.
