BRZ vs Tiburon
I haven't seen much comparison between these two cars. I'm imagining that to the common observer, these two cars look fairly similar. But I'm guessing that is where the similarities end?

Even if this isn't at all a serious post....given the OP's post count.
Having owned an '04 Tiburon GT I wouldn't say they even look all too similar. The profile and lines are a great deal different. The most they have in common is the fact they're coupes and have four wheels. Overall you'll find that the Tiburon has more torque (can't recall actual whp to comment on that, I know crank was 172?), but also torque steer as it was an FF. The Tiburon does drive well though, even being low to the ground it provided good road feedback while not riding rough; compared to the Tiburon the FR-S rides a bit rough (nothing terrible though, and definitely not jarring). The interior of the Tiburon was a bit more spacious compared to the FR-S / BRZ, however the car was also a bit bigger and heavier. The interior quality of the two is about the same honestly and that isn't a bad thing at all as the interior of the Tiburon held up to everyday use and then some (7 yrs and still looked showroom with care). One more note to add is that...I would hit my head on the back glass sitting in the tiburon while no such thing occurs in the FR-S and I'm 6' 2", this could have something to do with seating position however. I could go on, but interior space aside, the FR-S feels like a complete upgrade over the Tiburon even if the FR-S is down on torque in comparison.

Tiburon .. fast looking slow car. Successor to the Grand Am GT? heh
But really, there's nothing to compare. The Tiburon is low in power, much heavier and has a much sloppier chassis and suspension. The only praise I can give is that the 2nd generation Tiburon was an okay looking car - though it missed on every other note. The last generation was weird looking but they improved the interior at least. Bleh

If you consider the FR-S slow then there's a sign it's being bought by the wrong demographic.
It's a sportscar, not a bloated "appeal to everyone" car with a giant engine under the hood.

I've had a few hours of driving time behind a friend's Tiburon. The FR-S feels much tighter and tidier to maneuver and you feel the difference in the FF and FR layout. The Tibby feels built more for cushy comfort; the FR-S more for performance (though it's still very comfy in a snug way).

I don't even know you would even compare the Tib to the BRZ. Hell, the tib couldn't even compare to my Spec V 10 years ago.
