How do you like it with just those two parts so far?

Love it so far, no drone and totally silent at highway speeds or any time im cruising.
Nice growl during acceleration. Im just worried about drone or it being stupid loud or sounding bad with the header. Drone is my nightmare |

V-band connections are a circular machined flange that uses a circular clamp that holds the two flanges together. Our V-bands use a latch over design so they disconnect easily. The full race setup would potentially use nothing but these high end industrial connections rather than two or three bolt stock style flanges with gaskets. When I'm back on my computer (on my phone now) ill post photos.
Basically this would be the full tilt Baller setup allowing for easy switch from full exhaust to side exit race setup, etc at the track. Only one ratcheting 12mm end wrench and a pair of gloves required for disassembly and reconfiguration. We do have a huge run of 2" and 2.5" latch over vband assemblies being built right now. For anyone who has system A and wants to upgrade, we have had a number of STi customers swap from one system to another of ours and the resale value of our systems is extremely high. I've seen our muffler deletes sell for 10% off retail on the WRX forums. That is one reason why we rarely sell below retail. It keeps resale value up for our customers if they want to upgrade tip or muffler options in the future. Either way if we find a long tube system to be of great benefit we will find ways to allow cross compatibility when possible to allow people to connect with existing component designs. We do our best. But we are getting a WIDE variety of requests and multiple configurable options is what we do best do we are up for honoring those requests. J |

Even the full header to op/dp combo to single exit we have had on the car since 132 miles is pretty quiet at cruise. Tip in passing through 4000rpm is ballistic though. And cold start scatters birds out of the trees. J |

I sold on you guys. Jason I really enjoy your thought process with your products. I'll wait and see how the full v-band system looks. I wouldn't mind seeing a big single either...

I prefer wayyy quiet- I've got a family and kids, etc. But lots don't. Thankfully Jason and the crew are making products for both ends of the spectrum. I feel like the current downpipe/axleback combo is perfect for DD- nice and aggressive, not too loud at all, I think there's a good market for that kind of setup. But for people that want to go all out, either they are fine with the louder volume (I imagine lots will be) or they want the super quiet setup, which will take a little more dev time, but they will get it nailed down for us very specific and demanding customers.

Yeah super loud on this car is pretty fun. Have got a ton of "DAMN that sounds wicked!" comments from the locals. Even the gals at the local deli were asking me about it.
Exiled, by big single do you mean large bore? And honestly it's not like this is all our thought process, we are just listening and building what people are asking for on a lot of this. I think we know our work pretty well but being willing to try some of our customers and the communities ideas is exactly why we call ourselves Nameless Performance. Good news by the way, maybe a little early to announce, but we are getting a CNC mill it looks like. I'm freakin stoked. We are splitting it with an old friend who introduced a lot of our team members to one another. One of our Tuesday Night Car Club machinist friends. He runs a Nissan Z31 parts business. Our goal is to release enough parts in the first three months to pay it off. It's not a 100k machine or anything but we will be entertaining ideas very soon if there is anything you're looking for. PM me if you have anything you'd like to see. The simpler and more cost effective the better. The big stuff like intake manifolds and ITB's will follow. As the ideas flow on the PM side we will start new threads. Also shopping mandrel benders. That's the stuff we will need a loan for. Boo. Debt sucks. Jason |

I still want a single exit catback. Please? So I don't have to have one made locally. Pm me. And why not a cheaper JD2 bender? I use the shit out of mine for roll cages

We want to be able to bring full mandrel bent exhausts to market same day. Right now we just work with a few local vendors (one for purpose built bends and Columbia Rier Mandrel Bending for U bend stock) and will probably continue to do so in the future for certain parts, but for the most part, being able to knock out a design and finalize it within a day or two would be great. And having the ability to reduce shelf stock and continue our lean manufacturing effort would be a huge benefit to us.
Also, from a chassis and control arm development perspective, minimizing bend deformation also minimizes the potential of stress risers in the parts. Plus, ya gotta remember 85% of our systems are 3" (outside of general draw bender capacity), and nobody is really into buying draw bent exhausts. If we were mainly doing small diameter thick gauge stuff we would have already bought some kind of ratcheting draw bender. Getting a .75-4" capacity mandrel bender will be huge for us. Did the math recently and even shifting 50% of our capacity in house is going to allow us to pay a bender off in no time flat. Also keeping our complex part bending in house is going to be critical to minimize costs for items like these headers. We are also working on getting a 24" blade cold saw with hydraulic clamping and purpose built soft jaws for precision cuts on collectors and other position critical cutting operations. Right now we use a badass Ellis horizontal band saw for our cutting ops. It's amazing but the cold saw is accurate to within .002-.005 inch. Miles better than any band saw can ever aspire to achieve. If you want to hear more about how we do stuff, or have ideas on how we could improve, feel free to ask or give us suggestions. Some of the best applied concepts we have put to work here came from a variety of industrial and engineering projects we have worked on outside of the automotive industry. And we really dig talking about some of these ideas as concepts. Also like getting fellow enthusiasts into fabrication. None of this shit is particularly top secret or proprietary for the most part. Even though a lot of shops like to act like it is. Bah. Rubbish! J |

Jason, you guys have definitely earned my business. Now, I just need my BRZ to come in and after the first 1000 miles I'll be purchasing your products. You guys were the first to make these parts, you stand behind American work, your product quality, and listen to your customers.
I never bought an Asian knock-off product whether it be a watch, clothing, electronics. Knock-offs are just that. Lower quality, cheaper parts, and not as good as the real deal. They may use cheaper lower-quality parts, but your prices, workmanship, honesty, and performance just can't be beat. |
