Yep, back in the day, the knob and tubing wiring was protected from the rats and mice because the extensive use of asbestos, killed them off with lung cancer.

i did consider doing electric floor heat when i remodeled my bathroom, but didn't because i'm not old, rich, or made of money from starwars reboots. so i did a linoleum floor instead that stays warm enough for my preference.

I almost changed it for that reason. In cherry shape. I don't know if a poured basement is anything special but you've scaled those concrete steps. Do you agree that it's dry? Maybe I'm out to lunch.

In that link, the guy is in Michigan and pays roughly 15.8¢ tier 1, and 17.8¢ tier 2 for electricity.

Here in Idaho we have 3 tiers at 8.5¢,10.2¢, and 12.3¢.

Ready? Here is California. You hit "High usage" after the first week in your average 3 bedroom house.

Oh yea, New homes can't have natural gas or propane. Not green enough.
