Installed the Mishimoto inlet tube, cleans the engine bay up a bit, but the best thing is the driving. Slightly more torque down low and a bit more surge past 4000 rpm, definitely noticeable and not a placebo. The throttle response is so instant, like the car had a double espresso shot, lol. Overall a brilliant mod and well worth it…

Looks like it cleans it up nicely. I think it`s more a double Decaf shot lol. With a filter on top it has to be an improvement though.

I did say “slightly” in terms of power and torque. The throttle response though is definitely more immediate. I was a little sceptical about this upgrade and mostly did it to clean up the engine bay, so I was pleasantly surprised.

Looks like I’m not alone either.

WHAT DID YOU DO TO YOUR BRZ TODAY?

Washed and detailed both rides.

Pitty they don`t make one for my car. Perrin do though. Seeing the sound tube annoys me.

Looks like they do. Good news is it’s on special at Mishimoto Australia at the moment for around $145.

Put on Hawk pads and kumho tires in preparation for a track day on saturday. This will be my first with the new suspension. Tomorrow she will get a bath and I will put on the numbers that my daughter cut for me and I will be good to go.

No 2017+ Auto, it would seem, and it`s the same part # All cut and pasted from the site.
(SILICONE INDUCTION HOSE, FITS TOYOTA 86 2017+Model: MMHOSE-BRZ-13l)
(SILICONE INDUCTION HOSE, FITS SUBARU BRZ 2013–2016Model: MMHOSE-BRZ-13l)
Plus it quotes also fits 2013+ Subaru BRZ
2013-2016 Scion FR-S.

Pitty really a good price, and I won`t chance it, never seen one fitted either. I`ll order the perrin trade so similar bucks. If not for $25 more, right part piece of mind. Plus mishimoto are terrible (Idiots) to deal with when the products are wrong or faulty, sold when out of stock BASICALLY THEIR WHOLE BUSINESS HERE IN AUSTRALIA.

I can’t wait to catch up on extraneous expenses to afford new pads and tires and get out on the tracks again. Be fast this weekend!

Started before the Easter weekend and technically finished (more or less) today:
Major update. Installed facelift headlights, Valenti side markers, OLM Nightseeker fog lights (so any and all exterior lights are LEDs only), full genuine STI bodykit, diffusor, STI style cluster gauge, new lug nuts, new head unit with perfect fit, lowered the 3rd brake light to sit flat on the hat rest, black trunk logos, some more interior goodies, and some other stuff I surely forgot.

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the OEM+ BRZ V 2.0!

Looks great! What rear spoiler is that? I don’t think I’ve seen that before, looks good.

Thanks, I'm actually pretty proud that the end result matches the goal I had in mind.

I had the duck tail spoiler custom made by a member of the German forums, and applied a small rubber lip around the edges, which i sourced from the German Rocket Bunny retailer.
The duck tail itself is inspired by the TRD one, however it's a custom mold without the additional "flaps" towards the rear badges.

It's even road legal in Germany, which is quite a feat.
