Today I learned that the current allocation of GR86s for the UK sold out in 90minutes.. and that Toyota is only planning a 2 year production run...

BTW, no BRZeeeeees for the UK as we can't pronounce the name properly, we keep calling it the BRZed!

I am onto a future classic, keeping my BRZed, it's non-original but pampered!!

That's soooo funny coming from you because in proper British English (as I was taught) it's pronounced zed.
The English language uses a Latin based alphabet, which derives many of its letters, including Z, from the Greek. The Greek word for the letter Z is zeta, which is pronounced with a zed sound not a zee sound.

I was taking the piss.. we call it "what's that car?" The Subaru badge really confuses people as they're so conditioned, seeing the Impreza with turbos and four wheel drive, just don't understand the BRZ'ed..

Apparently there was a time in the 17th century where some Brits said "zee". I guess they all moved to the colonies.

That's where it goes back to the US has a 17th century British accent when they speak and the Brits us a newer "British" accent that developed in the early 1800s as they emulated the popular phrasing used by the Royals at that time.
