The cliff notes,
Blue states with strict lockdowns and guidelines failed
Red states with more freedom passed

(Not political opinion or conjecture, but the resulting outcome of the data and study)
Authors are members of The Heritage Foundation and American Commitment. No, no political opinion or conjecture to see there.

That was more of a disclaimer that “I” was not discussing politics only citing the findings of the study.

Yea, among many others, majority are blue leaning too.

The data was compiled, assuming the data is true. Then you can draw your own conclusions.

The general conclusion and consensus of that particular “report” weighting the three main factors of education, mortality, and economical impact. The overall combined score faired much higher with red states.

Now I’m sure one could argue how the three main factors are weighted and what should hold higher or lower values.

But based on the value applied to those three factors by the “report” that was the conclusion based on the data.

Welp, mrs humfrz and I went and got our second COVID booster shot this morning.

I didn't suffer any adverse reaction, however, I did come straight home and took a three hour nap, just in case.

I got the 'rona. Wife tested negative, but was knocked out all Sunday, so maybe she kicked it early. All the usual symptoms, but it's not as bad as getting the vaccines, which is likely due to getting the vaccines in the first place. Good news is I feel better than last night.

This week is going great guys...

My wife had a bad headache on Sunday, but otherwise no symptoms. Considering our proximity, I'd say it worked pretty well for her.

What we don't know is how many encounters it protected me from. This one is the result of 6+ hours of constant exposure to someone infected in a still room. Viral load was pretty high.
