Was up north to feed the black flies on Sunday and had a very good day watching the spring classic at Tremblant after 2 years of no spectators at that track.

I have been quite immobile in the last few months due to recurring bad knees and the little walkabout at the track & pits was actually a good challenge for my recovery and also had to modify my panning style not to inflict more pain.

All pictures are strait from JPEg no retouching.

I've never had a need or been in a position to require a stacked photo but I have experimented just to experiment. The Olympus M1 ii does in camera focus bracketing (and 15 frame in camera stacking) and I used Picolay to stack. What once upon a time been beyond most amateurs was easily available to a noob like me.

50 frame stack with mid frame for comparison.

I think I tried it once a long time ago for a macro shot. Actually thought macros were the only thing people stacked.
