Sorry all out. Have some nice fresh ambrosia if you want it though.
If you check the fish sticks in your freezer you may find there are many more than you thought.

Nothing raises a guy’s stock price like when another woman shows some interest. And… it turned out that he was allergic to cats anyway. And the ball sailed right between the goalposts for the extra point!
Interesting story.

But, why did you need a lightbulb for an air cooled engine?

I double-checked with a level if not getting it 100% sat on the bolts would be ok, and the level said 0 deg. So I tightened everything up, flipped the table right-side up, and then checked if it was sturdy and then if the level continued to read 0 deg; both were good.

I dunno why IKEA stuff is always so unnecessarily challenging. :bonk:
That's why I have a handy son-in-law for the heavy stuff and a mechanically inclined granddaughter for the light stuff.

All I have to do after it is delivered, is to drag stuff off the front porch into the entry.

ikea is terrible. their light fixtures are european style, meaning that it's just a bucket and a cord, and i always end up spending an hour building a mounting system for them...

their 'high end' kitchen cabinets all use these chintzy plastic thread-up/down adjusters to 'shim' the cabinets to the proper height. the same plastic adjusters that many shipping companies use for temporary product support....
Well he was an actual carpenter (I am not) but they weren't calling him directly it was just sidework he did for furniture companies when people pay the extra for having it setup for then.

The gearbox had something like 75W-90 oil and the engine had 40 or 50 straight. When it got cold overnight, kick starting was damn near a good way to get a hernia. Even if it had an electric starter, I doubt it would turn over. After owning so many British cars I should have known better. With a motorcycle cover acting like a tent, any heat source was just enough. Wearing a snowmobile suit out of the house, I was warm all the way to work not having to wait for heat to show up halfway there. Now, both my Subarus have remote start so I can open the garage door and start the car with my phone. I’m such a wuss.

Happy garage fridge. Ball tip roasts $2.75/lb. Yay! Now I get to spend the morning vacuum packing.

A friend of mine once called a contractor to install a door knob. We roasted him pretty hard because our group has several DIY’ers let alone a couple legit contractors. Apparently he’s never bothered to look something up on YouTube.
