Nope. Hello Kitty like Totoro is very Japanese. Born in 1974. My daughter taught English in a high school in Kyoto for three years. Kyoto was the cultural capital of Japan and the birthplace of Sake; mmmmmm good. Easy to confuse the Koreans with the Japanese, they all look the same. That should trigger the PC police. When she was a little kid, everything was Hello Kitty. Now we are into Totoro, Catbus and Susuwatari. Okay, maybe too much sake. That reminds me; ages ago when I did pre-delivery inspections on Datsuns, I would find half eaten lunches, chopsticks and small sake bottles. The big payoff was Japanese coins. The oddest thing was a threatening note from a co-worker to a slacker for not doing his part. Had it translated some weeks after I found it by a Japanese friend. First thing he said to me was, “Oh, this is bad… Tawagoto no shigoto!”

If it's going to be a true 10th anniversary car, shouldn't the Toyota be a base model with no haggle pricing and only a radio upgrade and an AT as an option? At least in North America anyway.

If i remember correctly, the 10 series didnt really have any TRD stuff...

they did have a bunch of cheesy/tacky emblem lights and other lit up stuff though.

IT WAS A JOKE based on @Dadhawk 's assessment that an anniversary edition should be a barebones FRS.
Maybe it should also come with a huge recall!
