Changing from C to Farenheit on display

I have a Canadian spec 2022 BRZ. Since i am old enough to prefer Fahrenheit when it comes to temp displays, I'd like to switch my car to degrees F. I went through the manual and settings but did not see if this is possible for the user to do , or do you need to plug into a dealer computer to set this up? I had no problem switching to Miles vs KM....but not temp. If you have suggestions I'd be thankful.

Yes, as well as the outside temp display.

welcome to the rabbit hole!

HVAC is region-locked. i've got a candian-spec tacoma, HVAC is stuck in Celcius. after hunting dracula for a couple weeks well into the darkest corners of the internet, the best i could confirm were some vague reports that the only way to 'possibly' change the displayed temp to Fahrenheit is to replace the main body computer(display is a display-only, with no relevance to reported temperature), which is coded specifically to the vehicles other computers, and a dealer-only replacement item, and would be all billable hours, non-warranty, prices that could approach numbers with a comma in them... things went really into the weeds with whether anyone was allowed to alter previous programming to allow Fahrenheit in the new computer, and i'm still not entirely clear on it..

my 2014 brz has the same fundamental HVAC display, and the same limitations...

BUT!! the outside temp display should be alterable. it ought to be part of the change from kph-mph. on my tacoma, it's in the settings, under 'units of measurement'.
