small block whoa, you mean short block right? man has a built small block chevy!

no its a built block. However, i am rebuilding my stock block since i dont want too much down time and im alot more comfortable building an FA20 now.


I got low compression in cylinder 2 so did a leakdown and yea air is escaping exhaust valves, i didnt even finish break in yet and heads gotta go back. Not sure if it was the machine shop(IAG) or me.

I already did the teardown, and it seems one of my exhaust valves is indeed not completely shut. poured some water onto the valves and after a few minutes it was leaking into the exhaust port. UGH

um, i'm no expert on engine building, but i think your spark plug is installed backwards. /s
