Timed exclusive.
Want it now? Buy it on Epic.
Or, wait till who knows when for it to come out on steam.

They did the same shit with Metro Exodus.
Fun thing about that is they didn't tell anyone till 2 weeks before launch.
The game was finally available on steam exactly a year later.

They don't really care. They've done a probably fairly accurate calculation of how many sales they'd get vs the $$$ Epic gives them up front and decided it's worth taking the $$$. I don't blame them, but also won't support them.

I have the PC Build Bug. Kind off want to sell my PC and just build another one. The prices of GPUs are finally coming down and some components are more easily accessible. Is like building with Legos, is all about the finished product satisfaction.

I'm in the process of going the opposite route. I've got an old Core 2 Duo system that I'm rebuilding to use as a MAME arcade machine in the arcade cabinet I showed above. I am surprised it runs WIN10 as well as it does.

I was thinking the same, even a 3080 will have me set up for a while but the price of a 3080ti is very tempting.

I'm hoping to get a steam deck this quarter. I no longer have plans to upgrade my RTX2080S/Ryzen3800X rig, as it will mostly be used for streaming games to the steam deck/laptop that are too heavy to run on those. It's plenty powerful for that for a long time.

I paid my $5 deposit... I think October is the current release date plan though.

That's what PC Build Sim is for.

NO!

Actually, is the only place where I could get exactly the GPU I want and not pay a cent for it. But can I use the PC Build Sim to play games on the built PC and play PC Build Sim. Big brain time.

PC Build SIM > 3D printer > PCB printer > PC SIM becomes PC! Well... someday in the near future...

I'm calling upon the PC Gods once more to help me with my PC. My computer has been shutting off and then rebooting frequently, has audio cut out for no reason and then shit lags, games will crash, and if my computer goes into sleep mode, will also reboot. I've even had the blue screen 2x now. Is this a PSU or GPU problem? I already changed to a temporary CPU and still had same issues. I haven't had any lights on the mobo indicating it was the GPU.

reslot your memory, and/or run a memory test.

audio lagging indicates a main-board problem instead of a gpu problem, assuming you're running off mo-bo audio instead of hdmi through gpu.

could also be a cpu overheating problem. but memory is my first guess, either a dusty/dirty/poor contact, or a bad sector
