Effectively sold out would be the best way to put it...

My guess is yes, no more 2022 allocations. I would expect a few months without allocations then 2023 allocations to start in the summer. That's my best guess, I could be wrong

Do you have any indication of how the production is split between AT/MT... and base vs premium?

Just curious.

I have old snapshots of the first round of allocations, where most dealers got a launch unit

Premium MT - 66
Base MT - 42
Premium AT - 39
Base AT - 20

That is not EVERY unit, but gives a rough idea of the ratios. There were some units already marked unavailable as well as filled orders that I couldn't see

Really shows how inaccurate the "70% AT" rumours were.

Well, that was only Canada and only the initial stock allocations from the first production run. I wouldn't read too much into it honestly

Still more data points than the rumour that was based upon ... well... nothing.

Thats true!

I would expect more manuals for the first year, maybe two, to satisfy enthusiasts. And then mostly autos. I believe thats how the first gen was?

We never could determine real numbers but the majority of the first gen appear to have been MTs. There were some versions that only came in AT or MT and and also most of the Special Editions were very heavily slewed to AT. The Hakone is a good example with 50 cars being brought into Canada with 30 of those being AT.

Anyone remember what the Toyota/Subaru reps said about the take rate on the MT/AT of the first gens?

I remember one of them was skewed a bit more towards MT (something like 65% and it was BRZ?), while the other one was more even (86?).

If you believe the board scuttlebutt, the Toyotas were something like 80/20 AT and the BRZ's were closer to 50/50 or 60/40 MT.
