Probably, wouldn't know as I've never been a fan and never had an active account.
(I do have an inactive one but it's only because it's required for the Oculus 2. As soon as they remove that requirement this year my account will go away).

As someone who has been a Comcast customer for somewhere around 20 years, Microsoft has the worst support of any company I have ever worked with.

All the cool owners in my local group moved onto other platforms. STI, 4C, 911, Cayman, Elise, NSX. All that remains is the teens and twenty somethings that financed the car for 13k and cannot budget more than $400 for a set of wheels. Afaik, there is only one other guy doing sports stuff (autocross) with his new '22. Pretty much lost my interest with the group regardless of covid.

so i went and filled up the car this weekend at $5.60/gal...
the debate rages in my head. is it better to drive the v6 truck that averages 12mpg on regular gas, with the nice heated seats, or do i drive the 4 cyl car that averages around 20-ish on premium gas? i feel like even with the mpg difference, the final per-day fuel cost is mostly a wash...

For the truck: Yt = (Pr/12)X For the car: Yc = (Pp/20)X What we want to know is what prices cause the rate of cost for the car and truck to be equal. Thus: Y't = Y'c (The derivative of Y is Y', and we want to set both equal to each other) Therefore: Pr/12 = Pp/20 --> Pr/Pp = 12/20 = 3/5 = 0.6 So when the ratio of regular price to premium price is 3:5 then it is a wash. If the ratio is closer (eg 4:5), then it will cost less per mile to drive the car with premium gas. If the ratio is farther (2:5) then it will be more cost efficient to drive the truck. If your mpg changes, that changes the crossover ratio. TLDR: If premium is $5.60/gal, then regular would have to be $3.36/gal or less to make driving the truck more cost efficient, assuming your mpg numbers are accurate. Also, imma be real embarrassed if I did that wrong... |

This morning I remembered to grab socket wrench kit, so I can assemble the laptop charging cart (installing the wheels)... but clearly I've misjudged the bolt size. I thought it was 17mm, but it's bigger than 17mm. O'well, I'll just ask maintenance for some tools later.
