Brake Pedal Travel after SS Lines and Race Pads
Hey Guys,
I recently did a brake overhaul on the 86 (SS lines [Stoptech], new pads/rotors [CSG-Spec CP & centric blanks], RBF [Motul 600]) and while the brake pedal is super stiff and responsive, it not longer travels enough to properly Heel-Toe. I seem to remember a thread on here about adjusting the brake pedal height but I cant seem to find it anymore. I know about various clutch pedal adjustment write-ups but cant find the thread I'm thinking of. based on looking at diagrams, I have a conceptual understanding of how to adjust the pedal height however I'm unsure as to the existence of negative side-effects with making the adjustment. Anybody have any insight? Cheers |

Another option is to get the Verus throttle pedal spacer and leave the brakes alone. |

You'll find that if you're heel-toeing under AGGRESSIVE braking, you'll be deeper into the pedal and likely in a more "matched" position. This is a large part of why CSG always tries to match the complete braking system (pads, calipers, rotors), to the tire and aero of the car! Are you on the stock tires? |

This is Nathan. We spoke via email. I have Factory "Aero" and am on 225's. EDIT: I agree that under aggro situations this problem may not present itself but its something I've noticed while running some of the local canyons so the answer may be I need to push the car harder. |
