I actually preferred my cheap G27 wheel to the expensive Thrustmaster I bought later. The G27 feedback was hilarious. It would buck so hard that it rocked the chair, almost making it feel like you're in the car going over bumps. When I got the Fanatec, it was artifically smooth and just lacked that rawness. Kind of a bummer cause you upgrade and expect to have more fun but it was the opposite in my case

I was looking at the GT DD, but between that, the 8Nm upgrade, the load cell pedal, handbrake, H-shifter, and a cheap stand to put everything on, it'll all cost me $1600.

Yeah... I wasn't even planning to pay that much for the setup. Even my most expensive setup came up <$900! That include NLR F-GT cockpit.

You could always do it in pieces. It will cost a bit more over time but less of an upfront cost. The feel of the DD is outstanding granted I haven't played GT7 to know what the FFB is like.

Eh, I'd rather buy everything at once. Haha

So I was searching around and find this deal on Thrustmaster T248

Dell Deal: Thrustmaster T248 & GT7

So after you put it in the cart, you can take off GT7. The price will drop it down to $319.98... which is $20 more than Logitech G29. So I thought hey~ why not! & pull the trigger on the wheel.

I got $150 gift card plus $15 reward at Best Buy for buying LCD TV last month, so I'll used that to buy NLR GT-Lite seat.

Total cost for this setup will be $425.That's not a bad setup for a beginner.

I have the G923. Turn it up and it will give you a workout. Twin motors, I think the G29 is much less powerful.

Apparently the game is still down after undergoing maintenance since last night. And of course since it requires an active internet connection, you can't do anything at all.

Apparently it's related to the patch that was released last night. It's mind-boggling to me they don't have a rollback process to re publish the previous patch version.

I'm extremely disappointed in the new patch since it's severely reducing the payout in the (former) high paying races. If PD continues with this trend, I will not be buying future GT titles. Shame on them for really trying to force people paying real money for credit...

Same here. It really makes me not want to play it anymore.

What about all the people that paid top $+ for ps5 and the game. Now they have to buy credits or grind for hours to get overpriced cars and parts.
Talk about a real driving simulator
