That is pretty much the only engine that anyone uses. To get them to go that fast they have to buy a different ignition coil. Since around 12' Honda went to a CDI ignition that has a hard limit on the max RPM of around 4-4100. They sell this other ignition coil that will do 5800 that most people don't know about. Those engines don't last long at that RPM, maybe 500 hours under absolute best case and they will grenade pretty spectacularly. Kohler makes one that is okay but the clutch sucks. Sodi buys our clutch plates for their karts.

Can't believe I missed this. Car and driver 2022 lighting lap results. That Porsche is an absolute rocket. I was also very impressed by the Blackwing, that is one heavy girl, but a fast one too.

Karting is a hoot! I've been toying with the idea of building or customizing a shifter ever since I was introduced to it by my local 86 friends here.

I'm thinking of contacting the COTA operation to see what the deal is with their program.
I don't think I'm up to buying/maintaining a kart of my own. Moreover, I have no idea where I could race it. It would have to be senior-senior series. And, down here it's a day's drive just to get to nowhere.

Even a budget wheel setup like G29 or thrustmaster really makes a huge difference. I just gave my G920 to a friend, otherwise I was going to post it for free here. I honestly wouldn't go with a shifter on the budget setups as the pedals are not in a natural position and it makes heel/toe very very awkward.

I feel like I need a wheel in this game. I keep overcorrecting with the analog stick and the sensitivity is on -2...

Credit scores are weird. Offer the incentive of a lower interest rate and people go out of their way to spend money to acquire money, then pay that down so they can spend slightly less money to acquire more money, then feel good about how well they've spent money on money.

Today’s 1-on-1 meeting w my boss, she have finally reclass my job pay grade & bump my wage. She told me it’s 9% increase. It’s not that I don’t trust her calculation, but calculating in my head, it didn’t sound right. After I do actual calculation, it was 8.53%… I guess if you round up those decimals it comes out 9%.
