They’re OEM forged wheels, they are likely the same quality as the top tier aftermarket wheels available. Personally I’m not a big fan of their design, they’re a bit mid-late 2000’s for me. If you like the way they look, I’d get them and don’t look back. |

I get it, everyone has their personal favorites for color /design, etc. Those aesthetics /style choices also ebb and flow, one year you think it's decent .... 8 years later you may like it more ( and the wheel /car combo is the kicker of how well the wheel helps set off the car, and visa versa)
Some like the thicker spoke (TE-37) , some like a thinner spoke ( 10-15 spoke) like this TRD wheel or Volk CE28 . Or deeper dish /offset and/or width of the wheel ( wider also tends to be heavier ). We could also get into size of wheel 13" - 19" , but I digress ..... The main question here is does this design / manufacturing process hold up, or is it an inferior design. Where it's manufactured ( China / Japan, etc) is secondary to how well the wheel is made to begin with.

Back in '16-'17 , that was the word on the streets that Enkei made them for Toyota.
I'm not the manufacture, and I didn't look over Enkei's back to see if they indeed made them, or not. So lets say for now on they didn't make them , so who did ?

It's all right there in page 2 of this thread, post number 26. Also post 11 on page 1 has a tiny bit more info.

Not my absolute favorite wheels but the design is close enough to what I like, the weight is pretty good, the color is exactly what I want, the fitment is PERFECT (-5mm offset), and they can be already on the car when I pick it up. The convenience is what seals the deal.

Anyone know the price of these and if that includes the dealer keeping the original wheels?

IIRC dealerships usually will give you the stock parts if you get optional upgrades on request. When I was buying my 2020 and was considering the trd catback i asked the salesguy if it was possible to get the oem catback and he said that wouldn't be a problem. Should be the same for the wheels.

You still own all original parts that were on the car before the upgrade.

I think he was looking for the dealer to give him a discount on the list price of the bronze in exchange for keeping the stock wheels. While it doesn't hurt to ask, I could only see the dealer doing that where they know of someone (customer, employee, etc.) looking for a brand new set of those wheels and is sure that they could turn them around immediately at some kind of profit for the dealer. Dealer's aren't equipped (in multiple ways) to stock OEM parts.
