My only concern with a Grom is you become very hard to see. A truck could easily forget you are there at a stop light and just roll forward. I really dislike riding in traffic but I have an awesome backroad route to work that is quite fun and mostly direct. Adds about 5 miles to the commute.

Way to bring reality back.

The main reason I don't have a grom is traffic. It's a pretty heavily traveled back road, with 4 stop lights, and a stop sign I have to turn at that no one else notices most times. Lots of business traffic, and plenty more oblivious people that run red lights. And that's before making myself a smaller target.

Ugh I hate days like that. Our service manager is out so I am taking his calls this week. No long ones today.

On the whole Leaf conversation... We don't have one (they're not great for cold climates) but do have a Volt and have had to fill the tank lately only because it's programmed to not hold a tank more than one year. Barely register the cost to charge, and it's cheaper to own and drive than the Prius we had previously. When we've done holiday travel and such it still does well enough on gas.
Something !ike a leaf should net out cheaper after a few years, looking at total cost vs a similar size car, but it's possible some places are just insane on electric pricing and cheap on gas.

I got one yesterday due to it being early in our customers season and it was something I immediately knew what the problem was. Not even 5 min Took me longer to send out a new part and file the warranty paperwork.

Cancer has left the building. You can see everyone much happier now that he is gone.

We got a 3 year subscription to Disney+ on the cheap before release (they had a really good deal going) then got another year on top of that from a Verizon offer. Frankly, if you like Marvel/Disney/Start Wars/NatGeo it's the best channel to have.

We do "share" our subscription login with my sons and their families. Last year, Disney+ sent us a "congratulations" for being in the top 5% of their streaming viewers, so I guess we're getting our money's worth!

Well I could never ride a Grom in traffic, too much of a toy (although a hell of a lot of fun). Lots of better choices IMO in the $6K and under range. Here's a selection from my local used motorcycle dealer.

Google says it will cost the average user +$40-100 per month to their electricity bill based on vehicles with 300mi range.

I'd be super surprised if you called on any of those bikes any they were actually still available. Lots here (other than Harley dealers,) are ghost towns and it is the middle of winter! It has hell trying to find a bike last fall. Most dealer pages had the bike sold months ago but, left the ads up to get people to call anyways.
