TIL that a Scion FRS will confuse a smog shop and make them say, "what the hell is this!?" after seeing Subaru, Toyota, and Scion throughout the car. LMAO

Funny at the moment, but made smogging my car take 40 minutes. Also partly because they were also looking up what my Scan Gauge 2 is and making sure it wasn't a tuning device. (-____-)

In fairness I have lived in a couple of places where there is no way I would want to back in every time.
In this case the proposed solutions will not resolve the issue though. Bigger tires and smaller battery just would have no real impact without going to extremes that open up new issues.

Probably didn't help that I put Scion FRS on the form when I was filling it out. In his research, he pulled up the BRZ. So I had to explain the whole thing to him. Haha

Not too old to be a pilot, just too old to be worth the expense of pilot training.

I find that debatable as I'd only be 45 by the end of the term.

But they have plenty of younger people that want to be pilots.

Today I was reminded of something I learned long ago. Two competent adults with the help of a five year old can accomplish what one of those adults could do alone, but will take 3 times as long to get it done.

About 4 years ago I saw a copy of the Oxford English Dictionary for sale in a 2nd hand book shop. This was the full edition of twenty volumes but I can't remember if it had the 4 supplements. I was so tempted. It wasn't the price, which was a bargain, but the fact that we had no where to put them.

TIL that when you wake up to the temperature setting blinking on the front of your Samsung refrigerator, you get to go to your local appliance store at 7AM to buy a new fridge.

At least they had some in stock.....Good riddance to the Samsung, I've hated since 4 weeks after the warranty ran out and they wouldn't fix the upper ice maker....
