You could just simply change the profile setup on your targeted clock speed. Change fan settings or upgrade to magnetic levitation fans

So.... I made a huge amateur mistake. Part of the reason I was thinking about undervolting my CPU was the reduce temps. I usually keep tabs on them via Asus Suite 3 program. While not overheating, just idling I'd see spikes of upwards of 88c. I know Ryzen is known for this, blah blah. But the fans kicking in would annoy me despite the fan curve I felt was pretty good. Yesterday evening I did the most basic maintenance: dusting.

I cracked her open and WOW. The AIO heatsink and dust filters were caked with dust. Like ugly El Paso dust. My GPU fans, CPU fan, and everything else were just grimed up in filth. So, I took Q tips, a duster, and lots of lung air to clean it out as best I could. I feel stupid in saying this, but... it worked. -_____-

So yeah... temps are fine and fans don't sound like the world is ending. I learned my lesson.

I've seen you have fixed the issue but this is my experience.

I have undervolted my 5800x (same TDP as an 5900x).
My 5800x was running around 80 to 85 °c using stock settings in the BIOS, playing around with PBO2 did lower it a little bit (75 °c max). But I was getting BSoD and instabilities all related with overclocking. Tried alot of things to lower temps etc but the stability was not great. Until I really was sick off it, disabled everything off automatic OC'en and other stuff, put the Multiplier on 45 en the Vcore on 1.2 V (stock is 1.4 volt).
So now I have a 5800x running at 4500MHz @ 1.2 Vcore with a max temp of 60-ish °c and no instability issues with an CoolerMaster Hyper 212 (v1).
