That is a best case scenario! The little bit we know of this particular car looks like it is already a failed project. Picking up where somebody else abandoned it would not be my idea of a fun time. The price may seem "right" but there looks to be many many reasons why it cost so little.

My eyes lit up when I saw the words RX-7 for sale. I know how much of a pain they can be, but is just one of those cars with a special something.



Not buying it, I'm actually trying to find for a shtbox Honda Civic or similar to make it my commuter mule for the winter months.

Biggest question is, does he have the tools to do it. iirc Rotary engine flywheel nut is some ridiculous size (52? 54? 56?).

I get what you mean. Platform-specific tools would be minor items on an otherwise endless shopping list that would dwarf the initial purchase. BTDT, amirite?
