I love my 82" for movies and shows. Not so much for gaming though. Depending on how far back you are (I am 20') it is just to big for any games with a bunch of stuff going on. Get's hard to keep track of what is where.

- TV size around 70”~86”
- Refresh rate is minimum of 120
- Prefer brand is LG
- Prefer to stay below $1,500

& those 2 TV hit the points. Just can’t decide… to buy 75” to save $400 or be greedy & buy 82”.

Costco says the 75" is edge lit. If this isn't a mistake, I'd go with the 82" for the superior direct backlighting. If it is a mistake it'd depend on seating distance and wall space.

Want OLED or QLED… but man! They’re not cheap! If I wanna go into that, gotta drop size or pay more.

I actually asked the Mrs. if we could hold off. Hopefully someone will design one with a cable-connected remote drive/control unit. Would be cool to get it literally flat against the wall. Would have to cut a hole in the drywall for that now.

Plus, yeah, they're still super expensive.

Yep, keeping moving is important. I get my exercise by walking across the street every day to get the mail.

no one's ever said "the picture is too big and clear. i wish i got the smaller tv."

One of the shop guys tried to punch some mounting holes in an ar500 target for a buddy. Did not end well.

Not too clear but too big yes many people have said it. There are optimal minimum viewing distances. I have seen several TVs that were just to big for the size of the room and distance from the viewers.
