I have been using the black rubber stoppers as well. Every time I gab it, I think one day I am got to pull it off, so I order this handle today. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Perrin-Trun...-127632-2357-0 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

That's why I use the back of my hand instead of my fingers. At least it decreases the amount of oil transfer that would occur if fingers were used.

Its more that there really isnt an ideal location to pull down and push the trunk down with force required since i have never encountered a trunk that requires as much force as this one does to close. Plus mine has the OEM wing spoiler eating up some space along the edge of the trunk lid. I pretty much could only stick my fingers in the gap between the trunk and the spoiler. Cuz i do not want to push down on the spoiler, its only mounted on the edges and the the middle of the span. anywhere aside from pushing down on those 3 spots and the spoiler is flexing. I dont even think the middle part is mounted, its just kind of a "rest stopper" type thing. |

Not sure if this has been mentioned already but a quirk I've noticed is the right side of the digital dash display has a green tinge if you are wearing polarised sunglasses. It's only on the right part of the display so it's a bit weird.

What sunglasses and tint? I've got a set of grey-based polarized Oakleys and amber Maui Jims and hadn't noticed this effect. I'll have to start watching closer.

In the Cadillac CT5 for example, the owners manual recommends you not wear polarized lens because of their impact on the instrument panel and the heads-up display. The color heads-up display was engineered to appear green in polarized lens to avoid some of the issues.

Honestly you'd think they would design around compatibility with polarized lenses. I deal with the odd lcd viewing issues, too much of a clarity advantage to the polarized lens for me to not wear them when driving..

I've personally never liked polarized glasses so it doesn't both me much.

Seeing a lot of comments about closing the trunk - just use the Subaru badge as the touch point for closing. Easy and non-painted surface.
