All this study says has been said before. There is no date stated so it could even be one of the old studies just resurrected. For each "study" that says one thing there is one that says the opposite. Think it all depends on who commissioned the work. The truth is probably someplace between the two.

That goes into more of what if he swipe a bicycle rider instead of my huge ass Highlander? SMH ...BUT he admit his mistake, so his insurance will pay for buffing my rear bumper lol

Also because he wasn't aware and he was older person, police changed the "hit-&-run" to... forgot what he said now.

Now, I gotta go to the shop to get an estimate (maybe $100 to buff it out?).
Reminds me of the subcontractor at two jobs ago who backed his work Silverado into my parked BRZ in the work lot. He also just took off like he didn't do anything and as far as I know never got in trouble, despite my dashcam video showing that his trucks bumper _already_ had dents from prior fender benders. I saw the guy several times later on too and he never apologized lol. "Older gentleman" too.

That looks nice. I'd much rather go colonial (rustic?) style than carpet.

Last night sucked. I've been interested in a neighbor lady of mine for a while, our dogs like to play together, etc.

On our late night walk Haru kept trying to go up her units steps, so I texted her a picture and told her. Ended up being invited into that neighbors apartment with Haru, was offered a beer and drank with her, and talked to her while the dogs played. And then she casually mentions her boyfriend a few times for the first time.

Well, guess I'm not asking her out this week like I was going to .

It's for the best. Sounds like boundary issues and life-sucking drama.

Sooo, I had a pretty good night. My boss has been slowly restoring this magnificent specimen. It both runs and drives after a metric shit ton of work he's done. It's a barn find he has had for about 40 years now.

It's a Mercedes. They all take that.

I don't think I've ever seen a car where the driver's seat is in better shape than the passenger seat...

My guess is that leather gets dried out in the sun if nobody is sitting in the seat.

Like most older cars both seats are identical so what is now the passenger seat was probably originally the drivers seat. A fairly common swap in old cars.
This goes back to an older conversation we had where I would rather have the interior in poorer shape but completely original than "restored" with modern materials.

I heard back from the interview, or should I say, I had to ask around other supervisors as to why people were quiet with me all of the sudden. Obviously didn't get it. After being encouraged to apply. Wasn't pleased at all to find out like that. But, If I'm being petty, I will say that they had to lower the requirements and expectations in order to find someone who's more of a computer nerd than I am.

Maybe you were not quite the level of anti-social they were looking for
