Gas Mileage 2022 BRZ
Hey everyone, I tried searching the threads for gas mileage people are getting in the new BRZ, but I didn’t see too many results. I have also looked on Fuelly and it looks like people seem to be getting 22-28MPG. It would be cool to track the MPG of the '22s.
Go ahead and reply with the MPG you are getting, the trim you have, manual or automatic, and the type of driving style you do! I apologize if there is already a thread with this, I couldn't find one yet. Thanks everyone! |

@~300 KM so far, premium w/auto transmission 16.5 mpg
Nowhere near 20-30mpg...I'm fueling with 94 octane fuel and drive very spirited with burnouts. |

Obviously going to be highly dependent on driving style and conditions, but even the EPA ratings are pretty low for such a small, light car..

Yeah, currently there isn't a ton of data out just yet, but it's getting quite populated. Overall, I think it's safe to say gen2 will be down about 2-3 mpg's on average from gen1 based on whatever ones style of driving is. I personally think that's pretty solid for a 2.4L NA engine built to peak power specs. To be able to pull off above 30 on highway is a dream for a quick NA sports car like this one... and it fulfills it.

I don't do much highway, 95% sub urban. I think it's mostly because I take off like a bat out of hell and have been having a bit of fun in the snow.
I lucked out with the gas, the Petro Canada station down the street offers it. |

I like the BRZ, but I don't think it is anything special when it comes to mpg comparisons. Feel free to disagree, that's okay, we won't always agree.. |
