lol yeah that will happen. Last time I bought a surround it was fiberglass and I knocked a hole in it trying to get it plumb That was fun to fix.

My new one was heavy brittle plastic. Tried a hole saw to make the opening for the taps but the plastic was so hard I was afraid it was going to shatter. Was baffled how to make the holes and then had eureka moment. Went and grabbed an old 1 1/8" socket, heated it red hot with my torch and just pushed it straight through. Worked as slick as shit through a goose!

Briefly thought about getting a Hellcat just to say I had one, until I drove through Carlisle one day when the weather was nice. Nothing but Hellcat Challengers and Chargers as far as the eye can see. Wasn't even a meet, just what was there. I still appreciate what they are: big, heavy, unapologetic, straight line sledgehammers. However, after that it kind of felt played out.

There is this Hellcat Redeye widebody I was seeing for a while at the track. Even with 305 slicks it looks like an absolute handful. That is a lot of mass to deal with, it was really fast on the straights though. Through the corners it was like watching a couple people maneuver an appliance up a spiral staircase.

A 1:51 is quick though.

I can't ever have a Mustang or Camaro for pretty much the same reason. The fast versions (including track packs) are pretty fun, but I see the model everywhere and that makes it kind of boring to me

Did you come up with that simile? It's genius.

In all fairness the Challenger is a retro styled muscle car and as such it is exactly the size and weight that should be expected of it. They were once upon a time considered compact cars since they were much smaller than the average. Over time the average got smaller but they remained the same. As an old school MOPAR guy I would have a serious issue calling anything smaller and lighter a Challenger.
The same as when they came out with the
Barracuda" concept as a small(ish) light(ish) sports car. Great looking concept but not the classic 'Cuda by any stretch.

The people on this forum will not like the weight or size of the Challenger since most here are far from the target market. I personally feel it is exactly right for what they were trying to capture and would have bought one in the R/T Scat Pack trim long ago if it simply wasn't practical for the amount and type of driving I do. The Hellcat belongs on a drag strip and nowhere else as far as I am concerned. There is simply no way you can even start to use that power on the street.
Trying to use a Challenger as a track car is like using a garbage truck to deliver mail. It just is not meant for that.

lol I told you I have my moments. Watching it in turns 2 through 5 reminded me of that episode of Friends where they are trying to get the couch up the stairs.

Yeah, I am genuinely surprised how quick it was but there is no hiding the fact this is not really it's ideal use. No matter how much input and skill you have the physics become impossible to overcome. A 1:51 in any car at the Ridge is pretty quick though. That is almost 5 seconds faster then I have gone.

Looking at the guys youtube channel he sold it and bought a C6 instead. I remember talking to him after he got his C6 late last year, my desktop picture of my car it's parked next to me.
