Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy

I've had my share of head trauma from all the time I spent on the flight deck mere feet from F-14s launching at full power. :/

TIL that the heated seats and steering wheel in a 2020 Charger (rental) are useless. It's not because they don't work, it's that they go from 0 to "you are now on fire" in less than 30 seconds, and that was on the low setting. I didn't have the nerve to try the high setting.

We still had Corsairs on the Carl Vinson in '86. I watched a pilot eject from one as it rolled over the side because of brake failure. He was all kinds of fucked up but he survived. I think those ejection seats were particularly brutal.

I think that it was supposed to be a sarcastic statement. Those are obviously not F-14s
