BRZ MT:

-Window autodown and autoup function rarely works on the first time.

-Rattle sounds like it's coming from behind driver door speaker, however if you apply light pressure to the window switch panel, it goes away.

-BRZ head unit/navigation user interface is terrible

The analog speedo is useless and could be filled by something else.

-Steering (Feel, Aligned properly, car exhibit pulling left/right?)

More "on center" feel.
A little less help from the EPS. Is their a way to reduce the amount of EPS assist?

I don't know about anyone else but after using the A/C and turning it off hot air comes from the vents. I have to close the vents to stop the hot air from coming through. This is especially annoying when it is raining as it causes a lot of fog on the windshield.

-Transmission (Performance, Quality) - BRZ MT

This might be just me but shifting from 5 to 4, I sometimes get caught in the notches and end up mis-shifting. It feels like the grates are longer and gets caught if you mess up.

-Interior Function (Visor, Mirrors, etc)

The cubby hole right in front of the shifter only fits smaller phones (e.g. iphone). Newer phones (samsung galaxy S3) will not fit there, rendering it useless. Recommend to change it to make it wider and deeper.

Inconsistent temperatures in the HVAC system. the center vents above the radio most times blows out luke warm air, while the vent beside the two doors blow out several degrees cooler. The vents to the legs are cooler than the air coming out the center.

Not only is the air from the center vents coming out warmer but more humid. It feels gross unless the AC is on. I'm guessing the placement of the engine has something to do with this because i notice that i get condensation on my windshield on the outside in the center and to the bottom. something has to be causing this and what is condensing i would like to know.

I wish the little hole (where the heated seat switches would be on a BRZ) was bigger, though not deeper. I can almost fit my iphone perfectly in there without a case, it's just not long enough to fit the entire phone into there. Maybe maximize this and run the dipped compartment all the way to the shifter and to the edge of the center storage compartment near the rear.

Please rebrand the car as in Japan & Europe. I think North America deserves to get the 86 and not the so juvenile scion brand. I have been waiting to buy this car since inception and I was highly disappointed as many others to see it branded as scion. We want the 86 with TOYOTA badging. Please Toyota consider this at least as an option. I have driven toyotas my whole life and am proud of the brand - scion has no meaning and soul!

6MT Limited BRZ here. Since I think feedback is important, I'm not going try to make this sound polite/unoffensive and crap.

Engine:
-Torque dip is so bad that it makes me mad. Non-linear power delivery is why some people are against turbos, but this is just unacceptable.
-Engine sounds like a rusty meat grinder above 4k rpms.

Transmission:
-Embarrassing rattling noise at low rpms. I've driven cheaper cars and they didn't sound like this.
-1st->2nd gear shift feels like I'm pushing the lever through a box of rocks.

Exhaust:
-Stock tips are way too small and leave too much gap in the rear fender. They look like they belong on a yaris, not Toyota/Subaru's prized sports car.
-Sound is so bad that I flirted with the thought of getting a mustang/370z/WRX instead. Sounds too quiet at idle and becomes a lawn mower at full throttle. Arguably worse sounding than civics with coffee-can axelbacks b/c at least those still sound like cars.

Paint:
-I've never seen paint this thin and fragile before. Already several chips on the front bumper from everyday suburban city driving.

Nav/audio:
-Speaker quality is so bad that I just avoid using them. They sound hollow and airy--like the cheap, throw-away earbuds that airlines handed out 15 years ago.
-Nav interface is extremely sluggish. Screen colors look washed out. Screen is resistive, not capacitive. I feel like I'm using a $90 Coby android tablet. I no longer consider "nav unit" as a benefit that the BRZ has over the FRS.
-GPS and XMradio lose signal way too easily. Ex: whenever I drive under the freeway to make a u-turn.

Interior:
-Center console cupholders need to be fixated. Either that or make the locking device more secure. Every day it loosens up from daily driving, producing an annoying rattling noise.
-Glove compartment needs to have a back wall. My belongings have falling "into" the car while driving.
-The tiny storage space next to the USB/AUX outlets would be more useful if it had a bit more depth. Most devices I've set in there stick out like a diving board.
-Faux silver plastic trim above the glove compartment has to go. Replace it with some kind of soft-touch material. If not, then at least make it feel more dense. The thing sounds like a cereal box when you flick it.

Exterior:
-Next to the coffee-straw exhaust tips in terms of ugliness would be the altezza tail lights. Name one higher-end car that has them. Yeah, none, because they look like ebay rice. Either all red, reduce the surface area of the clear portion, or lightly smoked like the VW Touaregs.

Everything else about the car is GOOOOOOOD.

Back left suspension

Notice every now and then the back left suspension has a squeek. Also the fuel injector sounds like a sewing machine when the engine warms up. The dealer said they all do this. All aside, it's a GREAT CAR!
