The GM sensor in Haltech’s menu is probably for the fast-response variety since that is what they sell, but the calibration is this:

I got the car started. I burped the coolant and topped off the oil. The process wasn’t too hard with utilizing the BRZ OEM purge port and with using a fill kit. I got super hot air blowing from the heater in 10-15 minutes. The upper and lower radiator felt warm, so hopefully this means the thermostat opened. Water temps seemed stable. I should be able to try to drive the car tomorrow, maybe.
There didn’t seem to be any leaks or anything in the exhaust or IC pipes. There was vibration, but I don’t think anything is rubbing. The vibration might just be expected. It smoothed out with throttle input. The bolts for the strut tower spacer are too big like a M10 versus a M8 or something. I’ll reach out to the guy.

I had to drill for the larger bolts, but it wasn't too much of a pain, so I got the strut bar in place. I assembled the rest of the bumper and under trays. I would say the car idles smooth, but there is some extra NVH. I don't know if it is inherent to the setup. I don't feel it with my shifter or anything obvious.
I drove the car super conservative out of boost and in low rpms down the street to the car wash. It needed a good cleaning. I still need to get it tuned. That seems to be the hard part. I reached out to Zach at CSG who isn't going to up here anytime soon. I cc'd The Racer's Line, but no reply. There are local dynos, but I haven't seen anyone who is familiar with Haltech. I reached out to Humble Performance for potentially an e-tune to get me down the road. My phone has bad reception, so it got cut off, but they specialize in Hondas, and I have seen them tune on Haltech in their YouTube videos.

Remote tuning via screen share. Find local Dyno time? Worth a shot

Delicious do an e tune. MRT performance in OZ do e tune. Fensport in UK do e tune. I believe all of them can work on aftermarket ECU aka Haltech.

I might need to do this. I’m looking into it. I posted some videos of Humble Performance putting down big numbers. They specialize in Hondas and are familiar with Haltech.

How tall of spacers did you have to use for the strut bar?

20mm. 15mm would be ideal, but it wasn’t available.

Man, I have to hand it to you. That engine bay looks absolutely beautiful. Congratulations on getting the vehicle started and being able to drive it too. It deserves a lot of merit for all the work you put in. Even more so, while attending school.

I am working with Zach and with Humble Performance and with a local dyno shop. I might do remote tuning with Zach or with Humble. I may wait until Zach is up in the area at The Racer's Line to retune the car later. I really don't know at this point. I know lots of places that will do e-tunes and remote tunes. I know Zach from previous experience, and I know Humble from their videos being proficient with Hondas and Haltech, so those are my two go to guys for now.
