Logitech G29 which is more than enough for most sims. 6 SP shifter is sold separately. The wheel comes with 3 pedals. My wheel setup is mounted to the desk while I acquire a better mount setup. Gotta remove the wheels from your chair because you’ll move a lot unless you have an actual rig. Most sims are not too demanding graphics wise, u less you are into Forza but that isn’t much of a simulator. A 1080ti/1660 2000 series or even a 3060 would be more than enough to enjoy 1080p at 60FPS on high settings. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yeah, I was thinking of just getting/building a dedicated rig, not sure how beefy I would want it to be. How's the fold-up MSG? I have space for something a bit more solid myself but would be interested to hear your thoughts on that.
The csl-dd with the power boost is probably the wheel I'm going with, haven't looked at pedals yet, but my understanding is it really makes a difference in the experience to get good pedals. My GTX 1080 is probably good for a start, it runs my 4k monitor at my desk pretty well with most games on highish graphics. I just need to get it back from my wife's PC lol. |

It's great if you are working with limited space. I would say much more comfortable then mounting to a desk, but not as good as a rig. It has a bit of play where the wheelbase mounts to the bar that holds it in place. The bar the wheelbase is mounted to also has a bit of play where it locks into the chair. The pedal base pivots for storage and if you get hard on the brakes in like a formula car you will rock the whole chair back a bit. The pedal mounting looks like it would shift, but it has not moved on me. I also wish there was a way to raise the pedals in relation to the seat base as it feels a bit too low for me. Overall it is comfortable and quite adjustable. I have had mine for as long as my wheel, about 3 years and it has held up well.

I am not saying that doesn't look awesome, because it does, but the right hand screen overlapping the center screen is causing me some agitation.

Helps eliminate the bezel between the monitors I suspect, and you wouldn't notice it as much straight on.

DD1,v3 pedals. As noted, it improves how things look when in the rig, both geometry-wise and visually. Side panel surface lines up with the edge of the main active screen edge.

Ok, question on the wheel. What % of the torque do you actually use? Why would someone pick the dd1/2 over the csl dd now that the latter is available? Is 8nm just not enough torque for some folks?

I got the DD1 because I wanted a direct-drive setup and it was among the most affordable (and supported) bases available. I'm not sure I'd get it over the CSL DD base were I shopping now, but that wasn't available when I got this.

Any of the racing games support VR headsets? Flight Simulator supports them. To me it makes a huge difference in the "feel" once you get used to not being able to see your controls.

Makes a difference in judging braking points as you get some depth perception a screen just isn't as good at conveying. Makes me nauseous after a bit though. The green hell is like the Death Star trench run in VR and a fast car.

yes - I think rf2, ac, acc, iRacing all do as we've had folks join us in VR. I assume others do but unsure.
