Go tell them that's absolute CRAP!! Tell them if Scifleet & Martin Jonkers Toyota Caboolture can provide the tracking details, so can they!!

Check exactly who they are on the following link:

If necessary, ring Toyota Australia [1800 252 097] and tell them they 'refuse' to give you access to the web tracking system. Some Dealers were unaware that after some major 'disaster' in Thailand the sytem had fallen over but was back up and running at least 1-2 months ago. My Dealer was not aware until I informed him that others had access and then within 5 minutes I had a reply email from him showing the website, Order number and password

Will do! Still thinking why Toyota in that 'broadcast' [refer page 6 this thread] was still saying 2/3 months for the GT only 8 days after I ordered mine

Well lets just see what the unfortunate attrition rate is like.

i think i get the feeling that hype has turned into excitement, then impulse, then more excitement, then more hype then more excitement, then anxiety then worry then more worry then resolution.

i hope it works out for the toyota faithful.

going by some stories on the forums, be sure you have a backup plan.

Mine was at the dealer for 5 days before it was ready. And that was with me telling them not to detail it.

mine needed 3 working days when it was "at dealership being prepared" that was for tinting though so add a day for that i suppose

delivery date 29th of Sept came up this morning ... Still "scheduled for production"... Not "in production" yet.

When I placed the order they said late July. It slid out to mid September. But on the online tracking I still dont have an estimated date. I guess October (and no spare) here I come.

Delivery date 3/10 but scheduled for August production, so I'm hoping it'll move in.

Hoping someone can help to clarify.

I have asked my dealer for login details. Dealer replied by saying the Inventory Controller doesn't want to request login details for me, because my order hasn't been allocated a build yet and they don't want to risk the order going to the end of the queue.

Does anyone else have a login, but no confirmed build date?

well time line sort of checks out 2 to 3 months from July is round october build and November delivery or September build and october delivery.

can go 2 ways, they pooch the allocation again and a 2013 delivery or attrition kicks in and you get it sooner.

me, i am just happy with the monthly updates from my dealer, that tracking would send me cuckoo banana head nuts.

Even if there are cancellations, by us having the actual order number we know that is OUR vehicle being built and shipped etc - but then on the other hand if your Dealer has a cancellation then i'm sure they will contact either the next wanting that particular spec or another simply with an order and waiting - let's face it, if someone cancels that car won't be sitting idle around the Dealership!! My Sales Consultant still says go with October build/November delivery but I'm hoping it comes down the line September haha .. fingers crossed and yes, I still check that bl**dy tracking site 2-3-4-5-6 times a day!!
