Hey guys, i have the plates ZN6 (its the toyota 86 chassis code). All I'm asking for is the $160 (RTA once off fee) and $50 (RTA storage fee) if you want to take them off my hands.

Got the slim line flexi plate. Should look the goods when the car turns up lol

You pay 160 +440 straight up, on a pro-rata basis so its a % of 440 according to how much rego you have left, then 440 every year after that.

Not sure about the dealer, but I do know you can get them to put the std yellow ones on for ~$50 ish (instead of the $99 premium ones) since you'll be replacing em anyway

I was trying heaps of combinations that had 86 in them in either 3x3 or 3x2, but almost everything I tried was gone.

I ended up securing WHT-86. Figured it will still go with a Pegasus White 86..... Better than stock QLD plates at least.

This was my issue, being born in 87

I went with GIR087 in the end, because:

I wanted plates I could move to other cars in the future
I think it's tacky to have the car type on the plates
It confuses the hell out of people

Yeah that is what I did. It's $50 of the basic plates, $200 of the 7 character plates. Basically 10% off.

I got my initials and luckily year of birth is also 86
So got SW 86 GT and will tape an S onto the end of it :p

The plates I wanted to get I was steered away from as they were 'bogan' according to my partner but I think they are great...MA 86 GT
