Back in my racing days, worst I ever got in a street car was about 4.8 in my stock 911 at Sears Point. I was happy I had a large tank. First and last time I ever checked. 3mpg with a 10 gal tank must suck.

A full tank of 94 at Mosport DDT in 1 9-5 day (8 or 9 20 minute sessions).
I don't know the actual figure, didn't reset my trip meter and the live gauge was pinned at 50L/100. |

never thought to check, but my worst was tail of the dragon-- typically 1/2-2/3's of a tank for the 30-ish total mile trip from the gas station to the beginning and back.
so probably pretty close to around 5-8mpg? 2nd and 3rd gear, at the top of the rev range.
