Actually, it's pretty easy. Think of it as a magic wand selection tool that converts the shape to a bunch of mathematical expressions to describe the line it creates.

TIL, or remembered, I shouldn't wash a fuzzy blanket with my other clothes. I have burned through 3 travel size lint rollers and will have to start resorting to tape.

As originally listed by @gen3v8 the answer should be 120, unless something has changed about precedence in math I'm not aware of.
I always was taught that grouping for operators is exponentiation and root extraction multiplication and division addition and subtraction Therefore "230 - 220 * .5" is actually "230 - (220 * 0.5)" which equals 120. What am I missing? EDIT: Turns out I am missing something. Read on if you want to find out!
