Installing Footwell Illumination Kit
Hi, I have just got a BRZ 2022 and am trying to install a footwell illumination kit through the 12v in the glovebox, does anyone have a guide or instructions on how to pass the cable through the middle, so that I can light up the driver side?

My kit had enough wire to run all the way down the center console to the back seats, and then back up to the drivers footwell. Couldn't find a more elegant solution than that I'm afraid.

Really? There isn't room behind the centre console to slip it behind and over to the other side? Transmission tunnel in the way?

A cursory look showed that the transmission tunnel was in the way, and it was too cold out for me to do much more looking lol.

You’ll need to use a fiberglass fish rod to get the harness through the tunnel.

personally, i prefer a piece of copper wire, or a metal coat hanger--somethign that flexes and holds it's shape. in many instances, i've found the fish rods are too straight and rigid to get around the obstacles in-car
