Oddly enough my Christmas eve plan is to try out my sous vide setup on a filet mignon. I Hope I can find a good torch (food grade gas) afyer work to do a proper reverse sear on it.

Did the same, including the entire length of New Jersey. Was only supposed to be 6 hours. I'd take the entire 12 hour trip from Florida I did last month over 10 minutes driving in eastern NJ. Got another *5* to go tomorrow, but that should be easier.
