If my car has over 400hp, I will flare the fender (in a good way). I will probably get offset wheels and the rest I would spend under the hood.

Edit: I have always wanted Tein Coilover for my car, so that would be in my list too.

a rollbar is a horrible idea if you plan to drive on the street. also, its not rocket science how a wing works. you could just use a track day to figure out what settings make you faster. and you would only need a wing if you are having trouble keeping power down otherwise its counter productive

if the car doesnt come with staggered rims doing that would be a horrible idea. also greddy coilovers are trash. the only shock worth buying out of japan would be tein and nothing less than the flex but preferably monoflex

I wouldn't say molesting my own car.... LOL

Ricaro seats driver and passenger. BBS CS 4 or 5 rims (repainted). Coilovers, Exhaust, and the extra sakura flower design on the rear quarters of the car.

Debating whether or not to change the CBA pedels but eh, who looks at them? lol

As for the OP's pics. Those are disgusting. :l Especially the lambo doors and gullwings. Gross.

Personally, I agree. I get it that some people use their car as rolling sculpture and/or artistic expression, but that's really not my style. I definitely prefer functional before subjective expression.

Dare I say that the Scion version will get riced more than the Subaru version, primarily due to market demographic.

For me though? I'll roll it stock until I determine the weak points of the car. If it needs suspension, brake, engine, or ergonomic work, it'll happen to improve the car. I'm past the point in my life where I just mod the car for the sake of modding it.

Me too. I wonder if this view is highly age dependent? Bet more guys in their late 20s and early to mid 30s have this viewpoint rather than the teenagers and early 20s crowd.

I will leave the car stock and wait to see what area I want to upgrade or when something breaks.

People can definitely over-do it, non functional scoops, huge overzealous body kits and spoilers, weird colored wheels and body... yuck. Maybe a nice front lip spoiler if I think it needs it (which looking at it now probably not), nice wheels and tires, possibly full exhaust, coilovers/lowering springs (which again I may not need), HID's if they dont come factory, engine mods?

That 2nd pic with the 350z

thats a Veilside V3 wide body kit

While the look is a bit outrageous I think it looks good and I've seen one in person its pretty eye catching

For me its gonna be a trunk deck lip/spoiler, front lip and maybe a cf hood but thats all I plan to do for the looks department

deff gonna do some engine, wheels/rims and suspension parts too depending on whatever the announce tomorrow

If JDM gets HID and we don't you could also consider changing out the whole headlight assembly?

Well I assume that it comes with oem staggered rims, but how greddy is trash! I had greddy type s coilovers on my 86 for almost 3 years and I used to DD my 86 with no problems with the coilovers?

Tein are great too (I know a friend of mine, has GD sti, and has tein for over 5 years now and still strong) Japan do care about quality

staggered rims just makes things complicated and expensive so i doubt a budgeted car with only 200 hp is going to be staggered. changing tires and wheels like that can mess with motion ratios and frcs so its pretty easy to make a good car handle badly.

greddy doesnt make shocks for starters. all of the japanese companies usually just relabel cheap chinese shocks. tein is the only company from japan that tests and makes shocks in house
