Can you elaborate a little more on your shifter issue? I opted for the port installed short shifter too. Should be picking up here in a week or so. I'd like to know what to keep an eye out for.

She may need to go back to the dealer, after 100mi the reverse lockout plate is misaligned (port installed short shifter is probably the cause).

Installed some more 194 LEDs under the doors and in the trunk. Thanks for suggesting this, I needed some cheap easy 5-minute mods to keep me sane during my finals week so I feel like I did something with my life besides study lol.

To pull the trunk bulb out, I couldn't use my fingers. Had to use some pliers wrapped in a paper towel and it came right out. Door lights are pretty self explanatory, just go easy.

Nice! I checked the license plate bulbs and they look like LEDs already. The last one I might change is the backup / reverse light bulbs. I don't know if they are worth changing out. If you don't get the right brightness LEDs, it will make it worse than stock bulbs.

Put in 194's from superbrightled's in the doors and the trunk.
Removed clutch spring and adjusted pedal to be in line with the brake pedal. Quick drive and I think I might raise the clutch back up a couple mm. Def. feels heavier by a few pounds, but not leg straining IMO. Will continue to dial it in for the "perfect" throw.

Got my 17x9 +38 57CR's from my Gen 1 back. The dealer took the Gen 1 OEM TPMS out of them but didn't put the new TPMS I gave them in so the 245/40 PS4S are just loosely on the wheel. So now I have to get them remounted...
All that to say I jacked up the rear and put the wheel w/deflated tire on to get an idea of fit. Without dropping the car, +38 in the rear is looking like it's going to have serious poke. I'm having serious doubts that +38 will work in the rear, especially on stock suspension. Will know for sure after I can find a shop to remount the tires sooner than later.

Found a nail in the rear passenger tire about 1100 miles in; is that a record?

I had my dealer verify/state it was a factory install.

Unfortunately my car is going to the shop tomorrow morning with 126mi on it. I'll probably post another thread on it.

Notes: drove great 110ish miles yesterday. Got to my driveway and couldn't get it unto reverse.

Drove to the post office today and back. Have to pull up on the reverse lockout to get into 1st/2nd, reverse is a heavy pull towards me, would probably be an average person's two hand pull.

Either the lockout plate, the circlip on the bottom of the shift assembly, or both were incorrectly adjusted/missing. It's super loose and sloppy now.

Fair. Then they lied. I'll use that in my conversation tomorrow.

Ugh man, sorry to hear it. Ya it's not installed at the factory, but at the port. Curious which port did yours come through? It's on the upper left of the window sticker.

Yesterday I put on the JDM side markers and the smoked tails. Does anyone have a link for the LED's for the doors?

Sorry, I had a 4in roofing nail in my winter tires (also rear passenger) at 633km total milage on the car, and only ~100km on the winter tires. Brutal. Made 2 holes in the tire, but repair seems to be holding for now.

Those look great, looks like they match the factory stuff perfectly. Who'd you order from?
