She just had it a few months ago but the county doesn't have record of her having it, only the mom even though the entire household was sick and was tested at a county drive through testing station.
Meanwhile my sister had a graduation event the other day for this schooling program she went through.

Apparently someone in their dorm place tested positive like the day before. Same person has had exposure to most of not all the people in the program.

On graduation day I was watching the Zoom and a majority of people weren't wearing masks, especially when they walked across the stage thing to get their papers and get a last complimentary word from the person in charge, who was unmasked for the entire thing and within 5 ft of the tables in front.

5g signal upgrade attempted. Last two tries were a failure, zero signal.
Someone in front of us was in for her first. She also didn't wait the requested 15min, just walked out.

I didn't wait the 15 minutes either. The only way I can stay in a Walgreens 15 minutes is on the toilet.

Actually, vaccines and masks did do it. It substantially reduced potential fatalities.

They didn't eradicate the virus.

Because people were slow to adopt or willfully resisting both measures and we couldn't get them distributed worldwide fast enough.

I was walking to the outdoor waiting area earlier after my booster and this one lady working the site got all worried that I was leaving for real... but I was literally going right outside to all the chairs with a sign saying observation area and one of the Fauci body boards (which I admit to taking a selfie with ).

Lol there are literally places with 100% vaccination rates who are still seeing spikes in new cases. The vaccine wasn’t meant to stop transmission of the virus. I know people in here like to ignore or forget those facts, but it still hasn’t changed.

Not true. Like some other posters, you're trying to rewrite history. The explicit goal of vaccine development WAS to stop the transmission of the virus. Witness the initial discussions of "Herd Immunity." Vaccines were specifically intended to do exactly what you claim they were not.

There was an acknowledgement of the novelty of the situation and the potential for mutations to screw up the works. And if you look at infection/hospitalization/death rate curves from the first 5 months of 2021 you'll notice that the vaccines lived up to their hype. Delta, combined with a global group of numb skull, flat earth, anti-vaxers partially fucked that all up. The inability of the developed world to reach the developing world sealed the Delta deal.

And yet people who were vaccinated were and have still tested positive since the very beginning, and it was acknowledged that being vaccinated doesn’t guarantee that you can’t become infected. That’s my point. Reduce potential transmission? It can. Does it eliminate it? No.

It did, however, prove to be quite effective in reducing the severity of symptoms, if infected.

I’ve been working with infected and recovered patients since the start; both vaccinated and not vaccinated. Patients varying in age from early 20s to late 80s. I’ve read all the chart info. I’ve read the studies. I’ve watched the goal posts continue to move over the last 18 months.

But it’s all good. Keep me updated in another couple years on who you’re wanting to blame at that point after 9 boosters or whatever.
