i use one.

try these settings instead in the logitech app, sometimes needs to be jiggled/reset after launching forza:
range 240
senitivity 20
centering spring 11

seems to work the same in NFS as it does in forza.

My biggest criticism of the game is this: One reaches a no going back point. One proceeds. One finishes the game and if you want to continue playing you go back to the save game at no going back. That is, you continue playing in the world at the point in time before no going back. It would have been so easy (I say that knowing nothing about game design) to continue playing after the the end of the main story. So you decide to keep on playing and you haven't finished the game. You get caught in a temporal loop.
Still an awesome world though.

Horizon Zero Dawn does this as well, as do some other Open World Games I can think of, and I agree I'm not a fan. The world isn't destroyed at the end of the game, there is no reason you shouldn't be able just to carry on without having to worry about retriggering the "final mission" of the primary story line.

If anything, at the end of the main story line, all secondary missions should be revealed (or at least the mission giver should be) so you can complete the game.

Wow! I'm now looking forward to 3 games! Maybe it's 4, I've lost count.

I recently got into Hell Let Loose on PC after listening to a Dan Carlin pod. Anyone else play that? It's pretty immersive.

I play it, but on PS5. Best shooter I've ever played.

Assetto Corsa is absolutely fun. I did not mind doing lap after lap with the 86 at Silverstone. I need to get a mount/chasis for the wheel, because mounting it to the desk, and the pedals on the carpet aint going to cut it.

ok computer people. having display problems...

so i was saying earlier that my old pentium-dual core car pc was getting too slow for youtube duties.

finally tried upgrading a little. got a used hp prodesk 600 (i3/8gb, intel-integrated graphics, platter drive) small form factor pc off ebay for $80(about 1/3 what it would cost for a new MB/cpu/memory for carpc case).

it, well, works. sorta. it's officially rated for windows 10. this was a standard windows 10 pro install, downloaded straight from microsoft's website, made a bootable usb3.0 flash drive. fully updated everything.

it's connected via displaylink adapter to hdmi, to my a/v reciever, which then connects to my tv. this pc's only job is to run google chrome to play youtube video's on the tv, with ublock origin, and ABP installed via plugin's. i've already got a pihole setup for network ad blocking, but the browser-based blockers are needed for a cleaner youtube experience.

every 7ish minutes, the video appears to entirely drop out for about 3 seconds. the a/v receiver indicates that i loose audio input, and the tv picture drops off as well for the time. really irritating to lose 3 seconds of talking every 7 minutes... but the youtube video keeps playing.

hp's support page indicates a whole bunch of roundabout methods to 'fix' it, all of which a full-update and clean install should've fixed. the last option they seem to recommend is to go back to windows 7, which due to the lack of updates, i don't want to do.

https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04783131

any other ideas?

Grrrr... I have the space and funds for a good sim setup, but I know if I get it I'll never get on a real track...

At least I can say it's all the GPU scalpers fault for now.

I'm just getting back into CS:GO. Forgot how much fun it was. I got a new desk pad, which has helped me a lot I think https://www.galenleather.com/products/leather-desk-pad It's large enough to accommodate even the largest mouse swipe. I just used the desk before, which wasn't the best option and didn't react that great with my mouse.

Is your chair hard mounted to the frame? I find myself pushing backwards at times, I might just take the wheels off so I don't move around as much.
