It certainly seems possible as BMW has several Manual Trans that could work. Question is would we see it in the 2.0L first or only in the big daddy and would they charge a premium

The Z4 is offered with a manual only with the 2.0 B48 in the 20i tune (194 HP) (vs the 30i tune of 255 HP that it shares with the base Supra).

No clue. The only speculation I've heard discussed is that it will be whatever is going to be offered in the upcoming M2/M2CS. I'm just hoping for the S55 powerhouse to go with it!

I feel like if given the choice, the 3.0 makes more sense because I think that models appeals to drivers of vehicles like the C7 Corvette who are bummed about a lack of manual on the C8, and Cayman buyers who can't afford it.

But, I can also see people who owned a GEN I BRZ or FRS and now 10 years later are making more money and would opt for the 2.0 6MT.
