he says 18x9.5 +38 (so you don't have to suffer through the video like I did) on 255 (not 55 but 35) 18, so about 3mm more rim poke than 17x9 +35. He has natural camber, ie too much, so the +35 too pookie might actually be a thing

He says himself the fenders need a pull though. I don’t know if I’m willing to do that to a brand new car myself…

He also said "needs just a bit of fender work" in that video. I would LOVE to see what that fender and tire look like after driving that thing around for a few days.

Here's a answer from APEX as I bought a set of ET42 from them :
We unfortunately have not yet gotten our hands on a 2022 BRZ for testing. With that said, from what we have been seeing, the ET42 will be pretty aggressive in back. From what we can tell, a 245/40-17 may work, however you will need negative camber and likely a rear fender roll for clearance. Up front depending on suspension, you may need a front spacer as well. Until we do in person test fitting, we cannot say exactly what is needed to make the 17x9" ET42 fit. From what we have seen online a 17x9" ET45 is pretty darn aggressive in back, so our ET42 will be another 3mm pushed out towards the fender. Wheels should be here in ~3 weeks. |

yeah that's gonna need a lot more than just a slight fender pull
sucks that 18x9.5+38 wont fit with 255's, i was hoping to run that same fitment with just a minimal amount of pulling if necessary. now debating if i should just try to run 235's and have some stretch or just go try my luck at a +45 offset with slightly skinnier tires |

I kid, I kid. Here ya go. This is a 17x9+45 with a 255/40/17 Yoko A052. Stock rear camber at -2deg: I almost pulled the trigger on those Apex wheels today. Decided to hold off and save budget for more important things. Pretty sure those will fit just fine with 245/40's, especially with a tire that's not as wide-per-size as the Yoks or Falkens. |

I'll be on the stock suspension too and Hankook RS4 so I think it'll be fine. I'll post pics when installed.

I was considering uploading myself, but then every time I mentioned you on this thread I thought you were going to upload soon, so I didn't want to "steal" your photo and post ahead of you. Yay! Thanks. |

Im looking at a set of Heritage Wheels. I was thinking a 17X8.5-9 and a flush fitment on stock suspension, what offset would you recommend? I have been scouring the web to try to find people fitting wheels on the gen 2's but can hardly find much besides what is posted here.
