Any good reason to stick with 1st Gen?

Mainly the center console stack. Just never been a fan on these cars with super fancy interiors

Well as long as they avoid haptic sliders like Cadillac used a generation ago and provide a nice microfiber cloth tucked in an easy spot I could live with it.

I remember when a yong driver destroyed one of those on the test track doing some press conference, things I learned:
1. Bentleys are safe vehicle (you can crash close to 200 mph and leave walking)

The funny part is that this dumbass topic is spread across at least two currently active threads!
When you get down to this level of nitpicking it shows that some people are really desperate to prove that everything about the second gen is new and improved I guess.

Timurrrr pointed out several things about the interior that he felt are improved and you guys act like he said the turn signals are a prime selling point for the second generation ,when he's clearly talking about what he felt are general improvements across the board. And considering some people were discussing if the different mechanism of the turn signal is bad or not, why is it such a big deal for him to offer his opinion that it actually feels nicer than before?

But I guess that's somehow considered nitpicking, and definitely different than pointing out the 1001 ways parts of the exterior of the car makes it look worse than the first gen over and over again.

The turn signal stalk feels premium, has a nice click to it (as opposed to the cheap crunch of the 1st gen).
A/C controls look premium and feel ok (still plastic, but finally decent one).
The A/C vents feel ok, and finally it looks like they aren't going to close themselves after driving over a random bump.
Even the cupholder area (which I really didn't like based on the videos) felt surprisingly nice.



The interior of a brand new 1st gen feels like it's 20+ years old, whereas the 2nd gen feels like a modern car that's decently well built (adequate for the price tag).

Mentioning it as a improvement and it being the major topic of two threads are two different things.

Well, I can only speak for myself but I really was just curious what he meant by a the turn stalk feeling "premium". His answer makes sense, I just don't think I would have frankly noticed the difference.

Reviews say the new turn signal is one of those obnoxious types that doesn't actually stay in position but are bumped up or down and then you have to bump it the other way to turn off. Seems like a downgrade to me. NO SALE!
