Well now folks, on second thought, here is my take on how ol Sapphireho's wooden toy hammer got soo beat up. He spent a lot of time trying to pound the square wooden peg into the round hole -

Put in notice at my job. I don't think my boss was happy. He also insisted I spend time googling how to write a resignation letter because I need one. I was thinking to myself, this isn't the first job I've left before, I know how to write one... and besides, I planned to send one after the call. The call to discuss it first was common courtesy..
